Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Steel Fixer / Metalworker to join our construction team. The role involves cutting, bending, welding, and assembling metal components according to specifications for building structures and reinforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Cut, shape, and bend steel bars and mesh for reinforcement.
- Install steel bars, rods, and mesh in concrete forms before pouring.
- Weld, grind, and fabricate metal parts as needed.
- Assemble and install structural metal components and frameworks.
- Ensure all work is done according to safety and quality standards.
- Use tools and equipment such as cutting torches, rebar benders, welding machines, and grinders.
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and structural integrity.
- Follow project specifications and site supervisor instructions.
- Maintain and store tools properly after use.
