Job Description
We are hiring a skilled Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Apply primer and finishing coats according to specifications.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths or masking tape to avoid paint splatter.
- Ensure surfaces are properly finished and free of defects.
- Clean tools and work areas after each job.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures when working at heights or with hazardous materials.
- Work on both interior and exterior painting projects.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding progress and issues.
